DRESS CODE POLICY 2025
The Board of Directors have renewed the dress policy at Haydock Park Golf Club.
Directors, staff on duty and the Clubs Professional will govern the interpretation of smart casual and you are asked to respect their decision if approached, the above hold the right to remove anyone from the facilities if the Dress Code is not followed. Members are also responsible to ensure the standards of the golf club remain high and should feel confident to approach anyone not following these rules.
Members are reminded that it is also their responsibility to ensure that their guests are fully aware of the rules and that they are followed throughout their visit to our club.
ON THE COURSE
SHIRTS. Recognised Golf shirts must be worn with golf trousers or shorts.
TROUSERS/SHORTS/SKIRTS.
Recognised golf apparel to be worn.
No “Cargo Style” pockets should be worn.
Shorts must be tailored fit.
Denim is NOT permitted on the course.
Shorts apparel i.e. Gym clothing MUST not be worn.
HOODIES. Recognised golfing apparel hoodies are permitted, but they must not display large logos.
HEADGEAR. To be worn correctly, i.e. peak facing the correct way.
SHOES. Recognised Golf shoes that are made and designed for the purpose are to be worn on the course. Golf shoes must also be fit for the current weather conditions
ALL OF THE ABOVE APPLIES TO THE COURSE, PRACTICE AREA & PUTTING GREENS
CLUBHOUSE, NEWTON LOUNGE & PATIO AREA.
Smart casual attire can be worn at all times.
All headgear to be removed, including hoods when inside the clubhouse.
Golf clothing must not be wet/muddy. Waterproof suits must not be worn in the clubhouse.
Golf shoes are NOT permitted within the clubhouse at any time.
Sleeveless basketball style jerseys are not permitted.
Flip flops and sliders are now permitted in the clubhouse and on the patio
