A raised tee shot to a sloping fairway, with out of bounds all down the right hand side is best negotiated whether with a driver or fairway metal with a little draw up the left side again giving a better view of the green. A short iron approach is usually played from a hanging lie to a sloping green so needs to be very precise to avoid the deep bunkers on both sides.
